Maybe someday in the far distance, I hope to get enough nerve to run one Marathon.
Personal:
I am married to my wonderful husband Yasir. He is a marathon runner and is the best motivator and fan I have! We have two children, a daughter who is 6 and a son who is 4. We live in the KC area and have two yellow labs who are energetic running partners! My family spends time together going on little fun runs together and playing at the park.
Started my training for my half-marathon in April. Ran 3 miles and sadly enough it wasn't as easy as I would have liked! But I am back out there and hoping for my body to hold up through my training.
Speed work tonight. 1 mile warm up, 4 miles 10:08 pace and then one mile cool down. It was tough and my first time doing speed work. Hoping it pays off!
